Swinging Babies!

Kami likes to swing forwards and backwards....She's a little to small for the side to side swing to see if she likes that one.

Luke didn't care if he was swinging side to side or forwards and backwards...he just slept!

And not to be left out....Gavin...yes we have a travel size swing (that stays at my mom's house) and Gavin decided he needed to climb in it and swing himself....So so funny!

Kamryn and Luke Davis

This is going to be a short post, but I promise to post more pictures later. Kamryn Ruth Davis was born at 10:15 on Sept. 7, 2008. She weighed 6 lbs 7 oz and was 18 inches long. Luke Randall Davis followed her one minute later at 10:16. He weighed 7 lbs 9 oz and was 20 1/2 inches long! We are at home and both babies are doing great! By the way, Gavin LOVES his new baby brother and sister....he grins everytime he sees them!

Quick Update

I still don't have electricity and I'm at my sister-in-law's house, so this will be quick. Hurricane Gustav did more damage to the Baton Rouge area than expected. My c-section had to be rescheduled for Sunday September 7 at 10 am, because Woman's Hospital didn't have any air conditioning. Just wanted to update!

Hurricane Gustav

So, I'm 4 days away from my scheduled C-section, and I'm in Jena! That's right, we've evacuated away from the hurricane. Gavin and I are at my parents house and Chad went back to Denham. Not exactly sure why, but he insisted. My brother, sister-in-law, and nephew are also here. Maybe I can get a good picture of Gavin and Asher together :) I doubt it though, because the first thing Gavin goes for is his head! Anyway, there is a mandatory evacuation of the southern half of Livingston Parish (where we live) and the rest is voluntary. We live in the northern half of Livingston Parish. There is a parish wide curfew from 10pm-6am and anyone caught out between those hours will be DETAINED AND FINED! I told Chad he better stay home! Well, that's all for now....Sorry, no pictures, but, I will update on the storm later!
